UPDATE: Either running compatibility mode with Windows XP fixed the issue or a gm fixed the issue via support ticket, both happened simultaneously I believe so it's hard to determine. Going on 4th day of not being able to play with this account, would like some feedback/help or someone to respond to my support ticket(s). I've decided to try out Isboxer because as I'm adding more accounts, the cpu management features are super useful.

Launched EVE on a different computer, Windows 7, still encountering same problem of black blank screen at character selection. Hey Guys, I've been using Eve-O Preview for a while and really enjoy it's layout and functionality. Launching from eve.exe and resetting from in-game both "settings" and "cache" accomplished nothing except making me have to re-do all my over views. Please restart the client prior to logging in." Connecting to the server in this state could lead to a rather unpleasant game experience. Launching from the eve.exe file results in a prompt that states: "The client's local session information is corrupt, probably as a result of failed cleanup during a disconnect. Run the recache.exe file, regular and as administrator I believe the character portraits may have something to do with a hang-up on the graphics. It is coincidentally happening directly after I swapped and used another character on the account for the first time in a while. Step 4: Loading screen completes as normal but the character selection screen is now replaced with a black screen, the exception being a small gray circle at the bottom left that states "resource loading" (or something similar) when you hover the mouse over it. Launching from eve.exe and resetting from in-game both 'settings' and 'cache' accomplished nothing except making me have to re-do all my over views. You have the option of white listing only the key maps that CAN (ever) be used for that Character Set (recommended), or black listing the key maps that CANNOT (ever) be used for that Character Set (not recommended because any time you add a new Key Map to the toggle, you would need to go through and black list it on a bunch of Character Sets).A lot of this is copied/pasted from my thread in bugs, issues, fixes eve-o forums so just ignore obvious comments meant for that forum. This will bring up a Key Maps white/black list. For each Character Set, select it in the top pane, then in the bottom left pane select "Key Maps".

because they use the same Hotkey), you can add ALL of them to the toggle in the above fashion - however, you will need to do another step afterward to make sure that only the right ones get loaded for each team. If you have new key maps for different teams, that would conflict with the others (e.g. Add a Key Map State Action to each step, to turn your new Key Map on or off as needed. In the Control key map (non-WoW: "Always On"), under "Activate Maps" there are 2 steps, one to turn off key maps and another to turn them back on. If your hotkeys are in brand new key maps, the default toggle will NOT toggle your new Key Maps. If you build your hotkeys in existing key maps, they can be toggled with the usual Key Maps toggle, Shift+Alt+M by default. Found the internet 66 /r/Eve, lets have a semi-serious talk about ISBoxer.
